Image category

Hello, GamTam. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hi. For future uploads:

• After removing {{uncategorized}}, please remember to include the appropriate game image category in its place as explained above. So for M&LBIS images, you'd add the [[Category:Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Images]] category.
• If the format of the file you're uploading (jpg, png, gif etc.) is the same as the one you're replacing, there's no need to upload it separately. Instead, on the existing file page, there's an "Upload a new version of this file" link which updates over the old file with the new one. Mario JC 04:06, August 10, 2019 (EDT)

Transparent Smithy

Hello! Just letting you know that edited transparency on artwork is not permitted here, due to the poor results it can produce. It should also not replace the original jpg image. Even if it looks more presentable for an infobox, we prefer to keep images as close to the original as possible. Thanks for reading, and keep contributing.
