Hey there. Across several of the IPs you have used to place messaged on talk pages, some of them (such as this one) have been deemed as forum talk and have been removed (and if I'm being honest, a lot of them that aren't deemed as forum talk come pretty close to borderline forum talk, IMO). This is because talk pages are supposed to discuss about improving the main articles those talk pages are attached to, not for any random discussion about the article's subject.
Our wiki does actually have a forum board, the Super Mario Boards (which you can access directly from the wiki's sidebar]. If I may suggest, perhaps you can create an account on the Mario Boards (if you haven't already) and discuss your observations there instead of the wiki's talk pages?
You're still welcome to use talk pages to discuss things about our articles (this discussion is acceptable, for instance), but I think it's best to be aware that you know to not treat the talk pages on the wiki like forum boards, and instead make use of our actual forum boards for that. rend (talk) (edits) 17:08, January 1, 2025 (EST)
Alright, that's actually very well put and understandable. And were you the one who created this page? 31.104.129.126 17:13, January 1, 2025 (EST)
- Your current IP's talk page had not been made yet, so yes, I suppose? Bit of a random question, if I'm being honest. rend (talk) (edits) 17:16, January 1, 2025 (EST)
So what your saying is that the sections I make have to be mario related and not just any discussion? 31.104.129.126 17:18, January 1, 2025 (EST)
- They have to be related to the article itself. Talk pages are strictly wiki-related (for instance, saying that Goomba is your favorite Mario enemy is also deemed as forum talk). More information about talking on this wiki can be read here. rend (talk) (edits) 17:25, January 1, 2025 (EST)
Ah, I see now. Thanks arend. 31.104.129.126 17:27, January 1, 2025 (EST)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
