Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
In Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, the time limit in Shine Thief is 60 seconds. However, the timer starts only after a player gets the Shine Sprite on the course.
Mario Kart Wii
In Mario Kart Wii, players have three minutes in Balloon Battle. When one minute remains, the music speeds up a bit and raises by a half step, in addition to the timer flashing red.
Mario Kart 7
In Mario Kart 7, Balloon Battle's time limit is reduced to two minutes.
