The Smash Brothers content is all in one place so we can prioritize what counts as Super Mario. That being said, I'd like to talk about some other non-Nintendo crossovers.

Neither the Super Mario & Sonic series nor Super Mario + Rabbids are Super Mario spinoffs. If anything, they're Sonic and Rabbids, being developed mostly by Sega and Ubisoft respectively. However, a difference with both crossover series have equal Super Mario representation as Sonic the Hedgehog and Rabbids respectively, so that would be grounds for more lenience in coverage. However, I have ideas for sorting content originating from Sonic, should we ever get a Sonic wiki affiliate.

Keep in mind that I'm not looking to propose these lists. Should we ever cross that bridge, these would only assist in distinct coverage between sources while still acknowledging the existence of non-Super Mario content.
