The greater the angle at which the player twists the Wii Remote, the faster the dial turns. If the dial's mark passes the chest's, the player must spin the dial around once more until the marks align. When the player unlocks the bronze treasure chest, with a normal-spinning dial that has eight marks, the player must open the smaller silver chest inside it, with a faster-spinning dial that has 12 marks. Inside the silver chest is an even smaller golden chest, with an even faster dial that has 16 marks. The player who unlocks all three chests first wins.
