'''Tropical Tightropes''' is the twenty-fifth level in ''[[Donkey Kong Land III]]'' and the first level of [[Tin Can Valley]]. It takes place in a rainforest area. The Konveyor Ropes reappear from an earlier level, [[Jungle Jeopardy]]. [[Dixie Kong|Dixie]] and [[Kiddy Kong|Kiddy]] slide across the tightropes to progress through the level. Many [[Buzz (enemy)|Buzz]]es appear around the ropes. Along the way, the [[Kong]]s must also use [[Barrel Cannon]]s to go across gaps. It is comparable to [[Konveyor Rope Klash]], a level from ''[[Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!]]''
==Layout==
At the beginning of the level, the heroes will have to head down a long path, defeating a few enemies, such as Sneeks. Upon entering a nearby barrel, the group will be shot over a large abyss and land on the other end of it, where they will have to avoid some more enemies to find another barrel. Going into this barrel, they will be shot onto a moving tightrope. It will pull them towards some Buzzes, so the heroes will need to jump over each foe and hop carefully to the separate tightropes. After grabbing [[KONG Letters|the letter O]], the Kongs will need to enter another barrel and be shot into the [[Star Barrel]] on flat land.

About halfway through the level, the monkeys will have to trudge through the jungle and cross a small gap to find another barrel. It will shoot them to two parallel tightropes. The group should hop back and fourth to each rope to dodge a few Buzzes, then hop to the next tightrope connected to another tree. Following a small [[banana]], they will have to plummet back to the ground and travel east. After avoiding some enemies, including a Bazuka, the apes will notice another barrel. Hopping into it, they will be blasted to more parallel ropes. Continually jumping back and fourth to each tightrope, they will, again, have to dodge several Buzzes. At the end of the final tightrope of the area, the Kongs will find the letter N. From there, they should fall off of the rope and head down the path. Nearby, they will see a barrel. It will shoot them onto yet another set of parallel tightropes. Jumping back and fourth between the rope, as before, they will need to watch out for Buzzes. At the end of these tightropes, they will have to jump into another barrel and find the [[Level Flag|End of Level Flag]].

At the start, the Kongs find a [[Iron Barrel|Steel Barrel]] in front of them. They must pick it up and carry it backwards to find a [[Koin]]. The Kongs must throw the Steel Barrel over Koin to the left edge of the screen. The Steel Barrel rolls back into Koin, defeating him and rewarding the [[DK Coin]] to the Kongs.

*'''Collect the Stars!''': Just after the letter K, Dixie use her [[Helicopter Spin]] to hover across the nearest abyss. She must enter a [[Bonus Barrel]] in the center of a wide pit. In the [[Bonus Level]], the Kongs have 35 seconds to collect nine stars around some Konveyor Ropes and avoiding Buzzes along the way. When the Kongs obtain all the stars, a [[Bonus Coin (Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!)|Bonus Coin]] appears at the end of the area.
*'''Find the Token!''': At the end of the level, the Kongs must jump over the Level Flag to find a trail of three bananas leading into an abyss. They must follow the trail to land in a hidden Barrel Cannon, which blasts them to a hidden area with a Bazuka. They must jump into a Bonus Barrel next to Koin. In the Bonus Level, the Kongs have 15 seconds to jump from platforms, dodging Buzzes along the way, and reach the Bonus Coin on the other side.
