The best chances of getting this item are in 1st and 2nd place, with a 12.5 percent (5 out of 40) chance of getting it in said positions. If the player currently has a Triple Banana, they are unable to obtain a [[Triple Green Shells|Triple Green Shell]] or [[Triple Red Shells|Triple Red Shell]] and vice versa.
