(Nintendo Entertainment System)|NES versions of ''Mario is Missing!'']], some [[Coins from the Trevi Fountain|coins]] are stolen from the fountain by marauding [[Koopa Troopa]]s, which forces the fountain to close to visitors. When [[Luigi]] visits Rome, he must defeat a Koopa carrying the coins, return them to the Trevi Fountain's information booth, and prove their authenticity by answering various questions (listed below). Afterward, he is given $1500 as a reward.

The Trevi Fountain returns in {{classic|Tour|Rome Avanti}} in the ''{{Booster Course Pass}}'' DLC for ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]''. The fountain is now properly flowing, rather than being static as in ''Mario Kart Tour''.
