The '''Train Ticket''' is an [[Key item|Important Thing]] in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''. [[Mario]] obtains the ticket from [[Don Pianta]] after reuniting him with his daughter, [[Francesca]] and her boyfriend, [[Frankie]]. It is required for Mario and his [[Party member|partner]]s to board the [[Excess Express]] to [[Poshley Heights]] in their quest for the [[Garnet Star]]. The Train Ticket permanently remains in Mario's inventory, allowing him and his partners to ride the Excess Express from Rogueport to Poshley Heights, and vice versa, after they acquire the Garnet Star.
