'''Tox Box Switch Star''' is the fifth mission of [[Shifting Sand Land]], exclusive to ''[[Super Mario 64 DS]]''. In the [[Super Mario 64|original game]], [[Free Flying for 8 Red Coins]] was the fifth mission, but it was moved to the seventh mission of the course in the DS version. The mission requires [[Wario]] to be unlocked.

The player needs to make it to the northeastern corner of the course, where the [[cannon]] is. There is a [[Black Brick]] that only Wario can destroy and underneath it is the [[Star Switch]]. Pressing the switch will cause the [[Power Star]] to appear in the [[Star Sphere]] in the oasis, on the opposite end of the course. The player does not have enough time to make it there by running across the stage before the time runs out, so they have to make use of a nearby warp to bring them close to the Star Sphere. Breaking the Star Sphere will reward the player with the Power Star.
