When [[Lakitu]] is holding the start signal, he’s shown on the left side of the player. When starting the second lap, he is shown on the right side of the player instead, holding the lap two/second lap sign. When beginning the third lap, he is shown on the left side of the player (the same side of the player when he was holding the start signal), holding the final lap sign.
