'''Bangkok Rush''' is a race course in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. It is based on {{wp|Bangkok}}, the capital city of {{wp|Thailand}}, and made its debut in the city's namesake tour, the [[Bangkok Tour]].

Bangkok Rush returns as the first course of the [[Boomerang Cup]] in the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]]'' for ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]''.

In the standard layout, the course starts at the {{wp|Grand Palace}} beside a building with two elephant statues, with the {{wp|Wat Arun}} visible ahead. After a gradual left turn, the player briefly travels across the {{wp|Chao Phraya River}} with rowboats that can be [[Jump Boost|tricked]] off of. A sharp left turn follows, followed by a sharp right near the {{wp|Democracy Monument}}. Another sharp left brings the player through the {{wp|Maeklong Railway|Maeklong Railway Market}}, where the player can either go onto the stalls via wood planks or drive in the middle of some train tracks. After a gradual U-turn, the course goes underneath the elevated rail tracks of {{wp|BTS Skytrain}} surrounded by {{wp|King Power Mahanakhon}}, shopping malls that resemble {{wp|MBK Center}} and {{wp|Siam Paragon}}, and the {{wp|Giant Swing}}, with two [[Inky Piranha Plant]]s in the middle and several stationary vehicles to the sides of the track. The player can also go up some stairs to reach the Skytrain section. The course then takes a left S-curve next to the giant {{wp|Ganesha}} statue and the Phra Buddhasaiyas to the finish line.

The course also appears as '''Bangkok Rush R''' (reversed), '''Bangkok Rush T''' (with ramps), and '''Bangkok Rush R/T''' (reversed with ramps). In the R variant, there is an Inky Piranha Plant up on the Skytrain section, and there is a [[Glide Ramp|glide ramp]] where racers enter the river section. In the T variant, there are [[Water Geyser|water geysers]] erupting from the river, there are [[Rocky Wrench]]es on the lower part of the market section, and racers are forced to drive up to the Skytrain section before gliding to the finish line. In the R/T variant, all stationary vehicles are gone and the lower part of the market section is blocked off.

Bangkok Rush 2 starts at the same place as Bangkok Rush in the same direction, but the player takes a gradual right turn this time, leading to a street with stationary tuk-tuks. Another gradual left turn further down leads to a parking lot that resembles {{wp|The Esplanade (Bangkok)|Esplanade Ratchadaphisek}}, inside of which there are three sharp left turns upwards, before the player makes a jump onto the {{wp|Talat Rotfai|Train Night Market Ratchada}}, where the player can either bounce on the tents, or drive underneath them. After a sharp right turn along the {{wp|Ratchadaphisek Road}}, the layout follows similarly to Bangkok Rush, having the player drive on or under the {{wp|BTS Skytrain}} railway. Under the railway, the pair of [[Inky Piranha Plant]]s now lies in [[Warp Pipe|pipes]] on the sides of the track instead of in the middle. After this section, one more right turn brings racers to the finish line.

The course also appears as '''Bangkok Rush 2R''' (reversed), '''Bangkok Rush 2T''' (with ramps), and '''Bangkok Rush 2R/T''' (reversed with ramps). In the R and R/T variants, there is an Inky Piranha Plant up on the Skytrain section. In the R variant, racers use a [[Glide Ramp|glide ramp]] to glide over the Train Night Market Ratchada. In the T variant, racers are forced to bounce on the tents, and are eventually forced onto the top of the Skytrain section. In the R/T variant, the [[Car (obstacle)|cars]] and Inky Piranha Plants under the railway are gone, part of the route is blocked off by fencing, and there is a glide ramp just before the finish line.

This route starts in the opposite direction of the other two. Racers first make two right-angled left turns before driving on to a decorated street lined with stationary tuk-tuks. They then take a slight right to drive up a hill, before going off of a [[Glide Ramp|glide ramp]] and gliding either beneath, or around the {{wp|Giant Swing}} and {{wp|Democracy Monument}}. Additionally, racers can opt to drive around the landmarks using roads that circle around them. After that, they turn right to a road besides the {{wp|Chao Phraya River}}, where they can use stationary [[truck]]s with surfboards to bounce off of tuk-tuks, before making another final sharp right turn to the finish line.

The course also appears as '''Bangkok Rush 3R''' (reversed), '''Bangkok Rush 3T''' (with ramps), and '''Bangkok Rush 3R/T''' (reversed with ramps). In all three variants, the surfboard trucks are gone. In the T variant, there are [[Water Geyser|water geysers]] covered by potholes along the track, and the glide ramp is moved further down the track to the Democracy Monument. In the R/T variant, the gliding section is gone entirely.

Bangkok Rush returns in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' as part of Wave 4 of the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]]''. It appears as the first course of the [[Boomerang Cup]]. It serves as an expanded and combined version of the three routes for the course. Similarly to {{classic-link|Tour|London Loop}}, the course is noticeably brighter and paler compared to how it appeared in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. It is also more foggy compared to the ''Tour'' version. The [[Inky Piranha Plant]]s below the {{wp|BTS Skytrain}} rails have been replaced with the ground [[Piranha Plant]]s in their ''[[Mario Kart 64]]'' design and functionality. The curbs at the beginning of the Bangkok Rush 2 route and at the end of the Bangkok Rush 3 route are no longer offroad.

Unlike most other courses using arrow fields, Bangkok Rush can be driven in reverse briefly without Lakitu picking up drivers, with the third lap route loading in; however, the course soon becomes untraversable in reverse due to leading into the Talat Rotfai's lower level. Thus, unlike {{classic-link|N64|Kalimari Desert}} and {{classic-link|Tour|London Loop}}, no unusual behavior results from going backwards.

{{classic|Tour|Bangkok Rush}} is one of three courses from ''Mario Kart Tour'' to appear in the fourth wave, alongside {{classic-link|Tour|Amsterdam Drift}} and {{classic-link|Tour|Singapore Speedway}}.
