Tonally Transformative Elixir is a special potion created by Penny in Gold.
The Tonally Transformative Elixir is a potion created by Penny in Gold. It affects the user's vocal chords, causing their voice to become higher pitched. WarioWare Gold indicates that this is an improvement. Penny creates it order to become a pop star. However, it smells terrible, tastes bad, and has a side effect of causing agonizing stomach pain. Penny considers it her greatest invention.<ref>{{cite|quote=Greatest invention: That would be my Tonally Transformative Elixir! In Penny's stage, Penny explains her invention to Dr. Crygor. Dr. Crygor is concerned by its smell and Penny's motives, but his supportive response convinces her that he is willing to test the Tonally Transformative Elixir. Penny pours the potion down his throat. Spiky blue viruses representing the Tonally Transformative Elixir are seen passing through Crygor's stomach. While it does improve Dr. Crygor's voice, the taste is apparent now and this is swiftly followed by the agonizing stomach pain. Penny quickly administers the Super-Special Tummy Tonic to counteract that last effect.
During the prologue of Penny's stage in the Twist League, she creates the elixir with the intention of using it to enhance her voice and become a pop star. Dr. Crygor questions this but promises to support her no matter what. Penny then uses him as a test subject and pours the potion down his throat, which makes his voice much higher in pitch. He agrees that the effects on his voice are impressive, but the taste is terrible, and then goes into a state of extreme stomach pain.

In the stage, the battle between the blue viruses and the pink Penny-themed antibodies from the Super-Special Tummy Tonic in Dr. Crygor's body is represented by microgames. The blue viruses win and push the pink antibodies away when the player loses the microgame. The blue viruses lose and get pushed away by the pink antibodies when the player wins the microgame. The conflict pauses for speed increases and for Boss Stages. If the player gets a Game Over, Dr. Crygor slumps over while the blue viruses fill up the Touch Screen, presumably indicating the Super-Special Tummy Tonic could not stop the pain.
Penny remembers her Super-Special Tummy Tonic, which she uses as an antidote to cure the elixir. This causes Dr. Crygor's stomach pains to ease, and she asks if there are any improvements she could make, to which he replies to work on the painful side effects. He then asks her when the effects are supposed to wear off, to which Penny giggles nervously, implying that the effects might be permanent.

In the conclusion to Penny's stage, Dr. Crygor makes a full recovery. The effects the Tonally Transformative Elixir have on his voice remain. Dr. Crygor thinks the first improvement to make is to fix the stomach problems the elixir causes. He also asks when the effects wear off, and Penny's only response is to nervously giggle. This implies that the Tonally Transformative Elixir's voice changing effect is permanent. However, Dr. Crygor appears in later cutscenes of WarioWare Gold with his normal voice.
Despite this, during the future scenes Dr. Crygor appear in, he speaks with his regular voice, meaning that the effects might be temporary after all.

Penny sings "angelically" in the intro to Dancing Team's stage, which may be attributable to the Tonally Transformative Elixir. However, Penny's speaking voice is normal, unlike Dr. Crygor's in Penny's stage. The mention of the Tonally Transformative Elixir on the WarioWare, Inc website specifies it affects the user's "singing voice", whereas WarioWare Gold only says "voice", which may indicate there are two Elixirs and thus explain this discrepancy.
