| The '''Toad Kart''' is, as its name implies, [[Toad]]'s signature [[kart]] in ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]''. Its design is very similar to the classic [[Pipe Frame]] karts from ''[[Super Mario Kart]]'', ''[[Mario Kart 64]]'', and ''[[Mario Kart: Super Circuit]]'', and seems to have inspired the [[Standard Kart|Standard Karts]] from ''[[Mario Kart DS]]'' onwards, to which it also looks similar, but lacks handlebars, due to only one character per kart in those games.

| Much like other lightweight karts, the Toad Kart has low top speed and is easily knocked away because of its weight, but has above-average acceleration. The Toad Kart and [[Rattle Buggy]] have the same weight, meaning that they cannot push each other around, but the former does not bounce as high as the latter. However, they are lighter than the [[Koopa Dasher]] (another lightweight kart with identical in-game stats).
