The '''Timer Extender''' is a helpful tool in ''[[Paper Mario: The Origami King]]''. It becomes available in the [[Battle Lab]] after defeating the [[Earth Vellumental]]. The [[Battle Lab Toad]] gives it to [[Mario]] as a gift, explaining it is used to automatically increase the timer with some of his [[coin]]s once per turn. It is activated and deactivated in the menu settings.

There is an additional menu setting, a "bankruptcy blocker", used to limit the amount of coins the Timer Extender is allowed to use. It has a minimum of 100 coins and a maximum of 990 coins.

This item takes the appearance of a purple box with a plug on top, a clock on one side and a switch on the other.
