[[Bowser|King-of-the-Road Koopa]], attacking the [[Rebel Fort]] in [[Car Land]], gives [[Mouser]] orders to call for the Thunderbirdo, a member of the [[Koopa Troop|Koopa Pack]] whom he brings forward on a car, to use in the attack. Once in position, the Thunderbirdo fires a giant [[Birdo's Egg|egg]] at the Rebel Fort, which explodes violently upon the building, heavily damaging it. After this first attack on the Rebel Fort, the Thunderbirdo continues blasting the building with more explosive eggs.
In ''The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!'' episode "[[Toad Warriors]]", King Koopa, attacking a [[Rebel Fort]] in [[Car Land]], called for the Thunder Birdo to use in the attack. Hearing King Koopa, [[Mouser (The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!)|Mouser]] rushed to get the Thunder Birdo, who he brought forward on a car.


Later, after [[Mario]] and [[Princess Peach|Princess Toadstool]] drive away from the semi-demolished Rebel Fort in a spaghetti sauce tanker truck, the Thunderbirdo, riding a car driven by Mouser, tries attacking them. Before the Thunderbirdo fires an egg at the tanker truck, Princess Toadstool, who is riding on the truck's top, throws a [[Bob-omb|Bob-Omb]] bag into the Thunderbirdo's snout. The Thunderbirdo unwittingly swallows it on reflex, causing it to blow up.
