The Thrice Candy is a Red Candy in Mario Party 8. It's name is a pun on "three times" and "twice", as "thrice" isn't correct in grammar. It has a picture of three yellow Dice Blocks on the wrapper and replaces the Golden Mushroom/Super Mushroom item from past Mario Party games, acting identically to it. When used, it displays a special effect and lets the player hit three Dice Blocks instead of one. If the player gets the same numbers on all three Dice Blocks, then they get 30, 50, or 100 coins. Thrice Candies typically cost 20 coins but can sometimes cost only 15 coins. They can be hidden on every board except for Bowser's Warped Orbit.
