'''The Peaceful Village''' is the second level on the northern side of the [[music box (world)|music box world]] in ''[[Wario Land 3]]''. This level, along with [[The Vast Plain]], becomes accessible after [[Wario]] acquires the Axe from [[Out of the Woods]]' Gray Chest, which is used to chop the large tree that blocks the way to those levels.

The level takes place in a small village consisting of a few houses above a substructure. Each of the houses contain at least one door that can be entered, and only one of the houses has a [[Warp Pipe|pipe]]. One of the houses has a door that only opens at night, though there is a secret entrance to this house so it can be visited in the day. There is also a sewer beneath the village, filled with brittle pipelines and water, where there is a [[Robo-Mouse]] within.

====Gray Chest: Blue Tablet====

It is available as soon as the level is unlocked.

The Gray Key is below a thin platform from one of the houses at the top. To get there, Wario must first go up the ladder to the right and then up the ladder to the left, while avoiding the [[Doughnuteer]]s (day) or [[zombie]]s (night) and a [[Para-Goom]] on the way. After reaching the top, the way to collect the Gray Key differs between day and night. During the day, Wario must use a Doughnuteer to trigger [[Fat Wario]] so that he can break the blocks to the right of the third door, and then move until the effect wears off before collecting the Gray Key; during the night, Wario must use a zombie to trigger [[Zombie Wario]] in order to pass through the thin platform above the Gray Key to collect it. The light to revert Wario back to normal from a zombie is under the thin brown platforms.

The Gray Chest is within the third door, where there is a [[Fire Robota]] inside. Past it is a ladder, where going up and then left leads to the Gray Chest.

The Blue Tablet from this chest and the Green Tablet from The Vast Plain's Gray Chest causes the western side to be unlocked after both of them are fitted into slots on a door to open it, thus making [[Desert Ruins]] accessible.

====Red Chest: Blue Book====

It can be obtained after acquiring the Flute from [[The Stagnant Swamp]], which causes the [[snake (Wario Land 3)|snake]] to rise from the pot.

In order to reach the pipe on the roof, Wario must first make his way to the top where the houses are, and then go left to where the snake is. From the snake's head, Wario can reach the rooptops and be able to go within the pipe. Under the pipe, there are a [[Spearhead (enemy)|Spearhead]] and a Doughnuteer. Wario must use a Doughnuteer's doughnut to trigger Fat Wario, after which he must go to the left to break the [[doughnut block]]s, as well as the blocks below it to reveal a path underground, where a Red Key is.

After collecting the key, Wario must go to the rooftops throught the snake again, but this time go all the way right in order to go to the right door in the rightmost house, which watching out for the Fire Robota in the way. Within this room, there is a Doughnuteer on the other side, where its doughnut must be used to trigger Fat Wario, so that he can jump to cause the Doughnuteer to recoil until it is on the topmost platform, in order for Wario to be Fat Wario again after jumping up all the way to the top, so that he can break the doughnut blocks that leads to a ladder, which in turn leads to the Red Chest.

The Blue Book, along with the Magic Wand found in [[The Grasslands]]' Green Chest, will freeze the sea found in the east side of the world, turning it into [[The Frigid Sea]] and making it accessible.

====Green Chest: Goblet====

The Goblet<ref name=BookGoblet/> is an optional treasure in the Green Chest. It can be obtained after acquiring the Flute from The Stagnant Swamp, which causes the snake to rise from the pot. Alternatively, the treasure can be obtained if Wario has gotten the High Jump Boots from [[The Colossal Hole]]'s Green Chest. The treasure can normally be only obtained at night because the door only opens at night. However, during the day, Wario must have at least gotten the Super Jump Slam Overalls from [[Castle of Illusions]]' Gray Chest to enter the secret entrance. If he exits the house during the day, he cannot reenter through the same way.

The house that contains the treasure is located on the right side past the tall wall, where it is in in the door that only opens at night. To get there without high-jumping over the wall, Wario must step on the snake, and then make his way to the right through the rooftops while avoiding the Fire Robota. During the day when the door is closed, Wario must enter the leftmost house, and the go down the second pipe from the left all the way underneath the room, and then go all the way to the right in the sewers up the pipe, and then go to where the topmost [[Para-Goom]] is to break the wall to the right to uncover a secret entrance to the house, where he must then break past the walls to go right and up. Within the house, there is a door at the topmost level that leads to a bridge with [[Akamajakushi]]. The Green Key is all the way to the right.

After obtaining the Green Key, Wario must exit the room and then go down to [[Mad Scienstein]] to use his potions to trigger [[Invisible Wario]]. After that, he must make his way up to the topmost floor past the [[seeing-eye door]] while avoiding the [[denki]], since exposure to electricity will remove the invisibility. There is a pipe past the seeing-eye door that leads to a room with a Fire Robota. The fourth and fifth column of blocks on the floor are breakable with a [[Ground Pound|Smash Attack]], leading to an underground chamber, where the Green Chest is.

The Goblet does not affect the world in any way.

====Blue Chest: Day or Night Spell====

To get to the area where the Blue Chest is, Wario must first go all the way to the upper level where the houses are, and then go into the door of the leftmost house. In this house, Wario must go down the ladder to the left after breaking the blocks, and then go right to a red [[Lump|Prince Froggy]]. Using a [[Ground Pound|Super Smash]] near it will cause it to recoil to the platforms above, after which Wario can go down to a lower area with six pipes. The pipe that leads to the sewers is the second one from the left. After going down the pipe to the sewers, a [[Robo-Mouse]] will be waiting, which pursues Wario in the direction he is in. If it catches Wario, he will be thrown out of the house. Wario must go all the way right, breaking any broken pipes on the way. After passing the Musical Coin the middle, the Blue Key is not far ahead.

From where the Blue Key is, the Blue Chest is further towards the right, where there is a pipe next to it.

The Day or Night Spell allows the player to switch between daytime and nighttime at any time in the overworld. This can be done by pressing Select and selecting the Day & Night Switch<ref>{{cite|date=2000|language=en-us|publisher=Nintendo of America|author=Nintendo|''Wario Land 3'' instruction booklet|page=13}}</ref> from the menu that appears.
