"The Mario Bros. Guide to Grooming Your Moustache" is a one-page Nintendo Comics System feature in which Luigi applies various styles to Mario's mustache for the benefit of the readers. The comic opens with Mario and Luigi in a barbershop, where Luigi grooms Mario's mustache into different styles. Luigi's mustache styles are all ridiculous, however, causing Mario to become increasingly enraged. Eventually, Mario begins to chase Luigi around with a pair of scissors, threatening him with various painful-sounding mustache styles.
Luigi's mustache styles[edit]
- Braided
- Ponytail
- Marilyn Monroe's would-be moustache
- Waxed
- Pencil style

Notes[edit]
- The waxed mustache style bears a passing resemblance to the mustache of Salvador Dalí, a Spanish surrealist artist, which is further supported by Luigi describing this style as "sur-really".
