'''The Lonely Great Conductor''' is a [[List of Mario & Luigi: Brothership side quests|side quest]] in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Brothership]]''. In this quest, [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] must find bring some [[Potato Gelato]] to the [[Great Conductor]], who fakes a headache.

The Lonely Great Conductor becomes available after linking [[Conductor Island]], and expires after the second visit to [[Fortress Zokket]]. Clearing the side quest awards [[List of Mario & Luigi: Brothership gear#Great Conductor Wear|Great Conductor Wear]].

==Side quest==
To start the side quest, the Bros. must visit the Great Conductor on Conductor Island. He tells the group that he is hungry, and [[Snoutlet]] encourages him to go "out and about" with them. In an attempt to stall, the Great Conductor fakes a headache and requests something sweet and cold to be brought to him. Mario and Luigi must head to [[Heatfreeze Island]] to obtain Potato Gelato and give it to the Great Conductor to make him recover.

After giving the Great Conductor the Potato Gelato, he thanks the brothers before devouring it. Just as the heroes are about to depart, the Great Conductor fakes another injury and requests more food. Snoutlet then calls him a faker, which causes the Great Conductor to admit his lie. He thanks the group for spending time with him and gives them a parting/apology gift, the Great Conductor Wear. The side quest is then complete.
