| The Flying Krock (referred to as the Krockship in the GBA version's Sound Player) is the final world in both Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2, not including the Lost World. It is an enormous, crocodile-shaped quadcopter where Kaptain K. Rool holds Donkey Kong as a hostage, after completing Stronghold Showdown, when Donkey Kong is pulled up from there and into The Flying Krock. From the Crocodile Isle map, a ladder drops from the airship, and Kaptain K. Rool is seen climbing up into The Flying Krock. | |
|
| |
|
| In the Game Boy Advance version, each pair of blades is replaced by a turbine. The Flying Krock also appears in the opening cutscene, where Kaptain K. Rool and the Kremling Krew take Donkey Kong after kidnapping him. Because of this, Donkey Kong is in The Flying Krock for the duration of the adventure, and he no longer appears in Stronghold Showdown. Additionally, the Flying Krock itself is directly above K. Rool's Keep, rather than in front of it, and the ladder goes straight up. The Kong Kollege is now on the top tower of the Keep, instead of inside the bramble patch, like Funky's Flights II. In the ending, after finishing The Flying Krock, a cutscene shows the ship crashing, but all the Kongs manage to escape on time.
| | ==The Area== |
| ==Levels==
| | The Flying Krock only has two areas, "Screech's Sprint" and "K. Rool Duel". In "Screech's Sprint", Diddy and Dixie Kong along with Squawks the parrot had to face the evil parrot Screech in a race through a bramble maze, avoiding Zingers and other obstacles in order to reach the finish before the dark parrot. "K. Rool Duel" is as the name implies, the battle against Kaptain K. Rool. When the Kongs enter the level for the first time they see K. Rool in the process of beating DK, engaging the tyrannical crocodilian in battle the Kongs at first seemed outmatched by K. Rool's super enhanced blunderbuss but eventually managed to defeat him and send him flying into the swampy waters of his island. |
| In both Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2, The Flying Krock has only one level and a boss level, making the shortest in both games, and completing the first level unlocks the world's Kong Kollege, Funky's Flights II, or the final battle against Kaptain K. Rool:

| | During the game's intro video (which is in the Game Boy Advance version only) Kaptain K. Rool uses his Flying Krock to descend troops onto Donkey Kong Island and kidnap Donkey Kong. Later when Diddy and Dixie Kong managed to scale Crocodile Isle and K. Rool's Keep they saw and boarded The Flying Krock (see "K. Rool Duel" up above for more information on what transpired on The Flying Krock). |

| *In Donkey Kong 64, K. Rool had a Kremling craft that resembles a smaller version of The Flying Krock. Two other airships called the K. Kruizer III and the King Kruizer IV appear in DK: King of Swing and DK: Jungle Climber, respectively.
| |
| * depicts the Flying Krock as a simple blimp in the shape of a cartoonish crocodilian head. It also refers to it as being a sky-themed world, suggesting it was planned to feature more levels.
