Having received the Detective Peach transformation in that room, she returns to the previous room to complete an investigation test that Junior Detective had set up in the meantime. The two of them return to the museum entrance where the police officers consider her to be the real detective and lets the duo go inside.

Inside the museum there is a strict exit blockade guarded by the police officers, to the frustration of Theets in the entrance area who wish to leave. The duo soon reach the Theepota mural room where the mural vanishes soon after. Making their way to the popcorn kiosk area, they eventually track down the two culprits who accidentally reveal that the mural is still inside the museum. With Junior Detective and a museum Curator hinting that they want some fresh air from opening a nearby window, Peach gets a solid clue on where the mural is, though opening the window is not mandatory for her to find the mural. She eventually finds the mural behind a curtain that was placed where the mural had been standing all along.
