'''The Banana Incident''' (also referred to as '''Wild Ones Episode 1''' and '''Wild Ones 1''') is the first Wild Ones episode in the Story Mode of the [[Nintendo 3DS]] version of ''[[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Nintendo 3DS)|Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games]]''. The episode is unlocked after completing [[The Secret of the Fog]], and unlocks [[A Rainbow in Fog]] once it, [[Stop Dr. Eggman!]] and [[Corner the Koopa King!]] are completed. This episode, along with the other Wild Ones and Tricksters episodes, must be completed to earn the Story Mode 3 badge, and its completion is also required to unlock the Story Mode Cleared badge.

==Plot==
[[Donkey Kong]] prepares to eat a [[Banana]] after finishing a workout when he is approached by [[Tails]] and [[Espio]], who tell him that [[Omega]] has gone out of control and that he should try to get out. Donkey Kong refuses, and Omega arrives and charges at him, knocking them both down and ruining the banana. Omega challenges Donkey Kong to an Olympic [[Event]], though Donkey Kong is not interested in fighting him. Tails and Espio offer to challenge Omega instead, until Donkey Kong notices that his banana has been ruined and returns to challenge Omega.

Donkey Kong defeats Omega, but is still upset about his banana. He then notices that a part has fallen out of Omega, before Omega stands up and claims to not remember what has happened. Tails realises that [[Dr. Eggman]] must have installed the part to cause Omega to go out and cause chaos, and then Espio explains to Donkey Kong that he is working with [[Bowser]] to create the [[Phantasmal Fog]] and prevent the Olympic Games happening. Donkey Kong then tells Omega that he will only forgive him if he helps Espio and Tails defeat Dr. Eggman. Omega then accompanies Tails and Espio back to the [[Main Stadium]] to fulfil his promise, while Donkey Kong stays behind to keep an eye on [[ExCeL London|the wrestling venue]].
