G'day, you little ankle-biters. Here I am doing my first Section of the Month presentation and it's clear to everyone that I have no idea what I'm doing, but oh well, can't help irresponsibility on my colleagues part! Well we had a lot of good entries last month, although not quite as many as previous issues; in fact, we didn't really have that many good entries at all, but we managed to narrow down some less-than-terrible ones at least (I kid, I kid!) But it was an almost unanimous decision to label A History of Video Games by Toad85 the Section of the Month, which was all about the effects - both positive and negative - of the infamous Video Game Crash of 1983. Aside from a somewhat awkward closing line, the entire article was well presented and very professionally written, explaining all the finest details of the crash and proving both an entertaining and very educational read without being biased or childish. A very promising entry in what we hope to be a long-standing series for The 'Shroom. Keep up the good work, cobber! And of course here's a bunch of nobodies (and me!) who were also nominated. But who cares about them (excluding me!)?
