As well as having red shells, Terra Cottas further distinguish themselves from their green-shelled Terrapin brethren by wielding swords in battle. If [[Bowser]] is in battle, they, along with [[Pro Goomba]]s and [[Malakoopa]]s, will flee early in battle out of fear. If Bowser is not in battle, they may become confused from sensing his presence and attack themselves or other enemies.
