| '''Terra Cottas''' are advanced versions of the [[Terrapin]] soldiers that appear in [[Bowser's Castle|Bowser's Keep]] in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]''. Their name comes from "Terrapin," but it is also a pun on the name of the ceramic {{wp|terracotta}}. As well as having red shells, Terra Cottas further distinguish themselves from their green-shelled Terrapin brethren by wielding swords in battle. If [[Bowser]] is in battle, they, along with [[Pro Goomba]]s and [[Malakoopa]]s, will flee early in battle out of fear. If Bowser is not in battle, they may become confused from sensing his presence and attack themselves or other enemies.
