This proposal aims to not only repurpose this template using the "infobox-wide" class rather than the "wikitable" class, but also move it to <nowiki>{{</nowiki>{{fake link|MPDS collectible|Template:MPDS collectible}}<nowiki>}}</nowiki>. The current design for the template violates the standards laid out in [[MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive/70#Encourage concise, consistent and minimalistic layouts and design for tables|this proposal]]. I just wonder if it is an error. I'm hoping that we'll replace the numbered <code>figurine</code>/<code>image</code>/<code>description</code>/<code>unlock</code> parameters with these:
*<code>no</code> - The collectible number.
*<code>name</code> - The collectible's name.
*<code>image</code> - An image of the collectible.
*<code>type</code> - Whether it's a Character Figure, a Board Feature, a Boss Trophy, or a Badge.
*<code>unlock</code> - How to unlock the collectible.
*<code>description</code> - The collectible's description.

It's important to know that the new design and page move will change the template, making this change very helpful. That way, when the proposal passes, we'll replace all of the template's <code>MPDS collectible table</code> transclusions with its <code>MPDS collectible</code> transclusions.

Shouldn't there be a status quo option, for if people want the template to not be edited, but don't want to delete it?
