Template talk:Imagecategory-reminder
Protect[edit]
Shouldn't this template be protected, it's an important notice template and all other templates like this are protected anyway. (talk) (edits) 17:28, 10 October 2016 (EDT)
- Tweaks are underway. It's easier to keep unprotected for now. It might be protected when it is finalized. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:40, 23 October 2016 (EDT)
To Include[edit]
- Ending Scene Images
- Opening Screen Images
- Title Screen Images
- Pre-release and unused content images
- Glitch Images
- Merchandise Images
- Amiibo Images
Here's a list that isn't limited to these categories that aren't included in the template. How should these be mentioned, if at all? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:45, 23 October 2016 (EDT)
- Adding those entries would make the template's contents too large and overwhelming. It should remain as simple and informative as possible. I think that the template should be for repeated overall absence of media-specific categories, like games and television shows. Things like glitch and title screen images are too specific for a broad template like this, and users should be individually instructed as these certain situations come up.

- What about a table to have the contents be horizontal to use up the white space? Like this. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 16:00, 23 October 2016 (EDT)
Curious[edit]
Are there any reason to having Media files by company, Media files by film, Media files by merchandise, Media files by publication, and Media files by website be listed under Audio/Video Files despite being redlinks? For what I understand, I doubt there are any media files for a publication or a merchandise. -- PanchamBro (talk • contributions) 22:23, June 17, 2021 (EDT)
