DP suggested it on the Main Page Talk, then he said he can't make infoboxes, so that's when I come in and use {{#if}}s to get the job done...anytime, guys, even if I'm playing a SMW hack :P Wa _T^C_@^Y 23:45, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Add a last release parameter?

While not completely necessary, I think it would be useful to add a last game parameter to this template, to show that it is a company's last Mario game before going defunct. "Latest" means of most recent date, whereas "Last" means the final game made by a company. Unlike with my world infobox talk, this one is simpler because only one thing is being added, which only requires the addition of one parameter, not code that can change text. The parameter in question is:

{{!}} '''Last ''Super Mario'' {{{product|game}}}'''
{{!}} {{{last_release}}}
}}
|-

Or, alternatively, so we don't have to change the parameter for every defunct company:

{{#if:{{{latest_release|}}}|
{{!}} '''La{{#if:{{{defunct|}}}||te}}st ''Super Mario'' {{{product|game}}}'''
{{!}} {{{latest_release}}}
}}

This automatically changes "latest" to "last" if the company is defunct.
