A teleporter is a teleporting object that appears in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. After defeating the Magnus von Grapple 2.0, Mario and co. find TEC-XX, who uses some of the abandoned fortress's electricity to reactivate himself after Grodus deactivated him during the Chapter 6-7 interlude. He explains that Peach is in the Palace of Shadow, and requests that Mario save her; though Mario and his partners gladly accept, there was no way to leave the fortress or the moon. After giving his final wish and hearing Mario's words, TEC sacrificed all his energy to transfer it to the teleporter room, which Mario used to return to Rogueport.

Once Mario teleports, TEC can be heard in space. Mario's partner will ask if they heard anything (referring to TEC), though Mario will say no. Then it breaks down and the fortress explodes, leaving Mario and his friends unable to go back to the moon until the final boss is defeated.
