What does this tree mean?

I returned here after beating the game, and one of the trees tells Mario "I know you're busy, but if you ever come back, I've got some stuff I want thrown in that spring..." This seems too specific to just be a random throwaway line. Is there something else that can be done with this tree? Scrooge200 (talk) 01:23, July 28, 2020 (EDT)

Apparently, it's a mistranslation: From TV Tropes: "The original Japanese translation actually removes this ambiguity; the tree simply expresses admiration at the spring's power and says he has some stuff he wants to throw into it, without specifically asking you about it."
