"Wheeere's Yoshi?!" seems to me like it was meant as part of the instruction and not the name. In fact, the remake has additional "Yoshi's guessing game is a minigame that gives you a chance to double the coins or experience you got from the battle." text as well as "Yoshi's Guessing Game" in the menu, which is a closer translation of 「ヨッシーのタマゴあてゲーム」 (Yoshi's ''Egg'' Guessing Game).
