Handheld?[edit]
Is the Virtual Boy really considered a handheld? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

3D[edit]
By 3D, the article means it is capable of containing 3D graphics or it shows 3 dimensions like the 3DS? User:JORDANDEBONO
- It played around with depth perception. It was sort of a primitive version of the 3DS. 24.42.29.13 23:38, 12 January 2013 (EST)
In regards to red sprites and screenshots[edit]

So the raw graphics for the Virtual Boy are black and white, just like the Game Boy. The infamous red is all backlight, so it corresponds to the Game Boy's own pale green-colored screen, and also means there is no "true" red palette values, only approximations. Considering our Game Boy sprites and screenshots show the raw black and white rather than the backlit green, should the Virtual Boy ones do the same for consistency? I guess there's kind of a coconut effect where it's easy to just assume that Virtual Boy sprites and screenshots "should" be red, but as far as actual internal graphics are concerned, black and white is more true to form. - While I'm not 100% certain where I stand on this yet, I'm leaning towards having red images because of one important distinction: the Game Boy did business, which resulted in the creation of later models and other platforms for playing Game Boy games (Game Boy Color, Super Game Boy, Game Boy Player, Virtual Console, etc.), and the original Game Boy's green display was not carried over to them, making the green quite dated and archaic. Meanwhile, the Virtual Boy, for obvious reasons, has had zero longevity, so it's games have only ever been red. 00:41, August 9, 2023 (EDT)
