Do Thwimps act the same in Super Mario World in New Super Mario Bros. U? As in, do they instantly cause Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad and Yellow Toad to lose a life? If it's true or not, then this could be added to the article. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 10:28, 13 January 2017 (EST)
- Are Thwimps even insta-kill in Super Mario World though? The article says "Not unlike their larger cousins" but I can't find anything on the Thwomp article that indicates that they cause insta-kills either. - Well, they first appear in Morton's Castle in Super Mario World. Once you get there, let me know if they instantly kill Mario if he's not small. BTW, I watched a clip of New Super Mario Bros. U and Mario didn't instantly lose a life when he touched one. The link is right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldLhukbrl2c. Skip ahead to the 1:37 mark to see it.

EDIT: They DO NOT instantly defeat Mario in Super Mario World. Link right here at the 9:32 mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCbXJi1UUbc&index=15&list=PLZHoTxiy_QsqoDXUymF-AD_ivDd6LF3lV
EDIT 2: The information about them instantly defeating Mario was added since February 1st, 2011. Weird, isn't it? – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 01:07, 14 January 2017 (EST)
