Shouldn't this be a redirect for Yoshi (species)? I mean, it’s the scientific name for Yoshi's. Or is it the scientific name for Green Yoshis? Could someone explain?

The name originates from a guidebook created by Nintendo of America to act as a character bible for third-party companies using the Mario brand while making licensed material. It was used as a joke "true name" for Yoshi as a character, not actually scientific binomial nomenclature for the species. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:20, April 26, 2023 (EDT)
