It is not capitalized in the source, so it is possibly not intended to be a propoer noun, nor an actual name. I think it's merely used to describe them. Do they have a mention on the encyclopedia if they have a Japanese name, and what's the internal filename? ::It ''is'' mentioned in ''Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros.'', second from the left on the top of page 137 (listed among items and objects instead of characters and enemies): 「バネキチ」 (''Banekichi''). Internal name is "<tt>Banekiti</tt>", which is another possible romanization. Given that "spring" isn't a proper name (and, to no surprise, is used in the English version), I'd support a move to the official "Banekiti" under the another language template.
