Separate entity?[edit]
Is there any proof that they are a separate entity and not just normal Shy Guys that skate? What about their Japanese name? --

- Same reason as Stilt Guy. And Fly Guy. And Spy Guy. It's a Shy Guy with a different property and confirmed name.

- The "Shy Guys on Skates" in Super Mario Ball don't have a different name in Japanese, but I don't know about the appearances in the Mario Kart series. LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:56, June 13, 2019 (EDT)
- They're also just called "Shy Guys" in the manual (though it's likely just referring to its collective species). Though just because it doesn't have a unique name that doesn't always mean it isn't worth covering on its own if it's distinct enough. Since we conveniently already have an article on skating Shy Guys, it would make sense to cover that here.
