Plural[edit]

Shouldn't it be "Sinking and Rising Mushroom"? Spectrogram (talk) 08:44, March 28, 2023 (EDT)

I think they're technically two different platforms, just grouped together, similar to red and blue blocks. LinkTheLefty (talk) 08:59, March 28, 2023 (EDT)
Why was Rotating bar renamed then if there are four bars? Spectrogram (talk) 09:40, March 28, 2023 (EDT)

The official name(?)/Are they in SMBW?[edit]

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder there's this level in Fungi Mines called Upshroom Downshroom with rising and sinking mushroom platforms. The Italian name for these platforms, in the game, uses the same name used in the Encyclopedia, so I am slightly inclined to believe these two mushrooms might be the same, but I also realize these two have a different, although similar, behavior (and also that the SMBE isn't 100% accurate). So, maybe can we first see if the titular Upshrooms and Downshrooms are the same as the Sinking and Rising Mushrooms? --My avatar's face to use in the signature Mariuigi Khed 09:25, November 3, 2023 (EDT)

Mario Wonder also has mushrooms that move when touched, in KO Arena Fungi Funk. They have the same appearance as the Upshroom Downshroom mushrooms, in a different color. I'm very inclined to call the Fungi Funk ones the same as the Sinking and Rising Mushrooms. I'm not certain how to categorize the Upshroom Downshroom ones. AmossGuy (talk) 16:17, January 3, 2025 (EST)
