Merge to Shy Guy Galleon[edit]
While there aren't any pirates on this one and it's used as a platform, this is a pretty blatant callback to the Yoshi's Story entity, made to fit YTT's gameplay. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:36, March 2, 2023 (EST)
- For me, I'd disagree. Sure, the design is already drastically different enough, but it serves an entirely different purpose than the Shy Guy Galleon, as the latter is an enemy attacking in the background while the Shy Guy Ship is a harmless platform for Yoshi to stand on as you said. --CyonOfGaia (talk) 07:55, February 7, 2025 (EST)
- The design isn't consistent for the Kart games either. They're all just "pirate ships with Shy Guy masks on them." This one just acts more like those utterly terrifying amusement park rides to fit with the tilt-based gameplay. Granted, said amusement park ride did appear as a platform in Sunshine, perhaps an article for swaying ship rides as platforms could be made? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 11:53, February 7, 2025 (EST)
