As apparent in the above discussion and a cursory glance of this article, it is clear that the small wooden seesaw log in ''Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island'' and ''Yoshi's New Island'' is considered a separate object from the more recurring seesaw lift that also appears in those games. It is mechanically distinct too, as it slides off of the spire it sits on if Yoshi stands on one end for too long.
