Is there a reason why these both are covered on one page? I don't recall ever doing this with other special items before (besides stuff like the Castle Keys in both PM64 and TTYD which do all share the same name, unlike the Red Goblet and Green Goblet. We also split the potions from TTYD). There's also the fact that the Red Goblet exclusively is found in that Minion Quest mission — it's not like these two items are always found together. I'm not necessarily saying we should split them yet, but I'm wondering why they're merged to begin with. Technetium (talk) 09:48, December 26, 2024 (EST)
- My guess is that they're both found relatively close to each other and both serve as a tutorial for the new hammer moves? The Red, Purple and White Chuckola Fruit are also grouped together.

- I think the Chuckola Fruit merge makes more sense considering you need all three types to proceed in the story. I just find it odd to have a whole paragraph on the shared page exclusively about the Red Goblet, if that makes sense? So I think the remake does distinguish the two goblets enough to warrant separate pages. I'm having a hard time trying to word this… Technetium (talk) 10:47, December 26, 2024 (EST)
- Cork and Cask; Gigi and Merri; Firebrand and Thunderhand; Sledge and Mallet; General and Sergeant Starshadr are also merged. These characters are all parts of tutorials throughout this game. So I assume in this case, as Sparks said, these two items are tied together in the tutotial. The article was made before the remake, and you can make the case for a split, though I also can see the counterargumet relying on these merged articles for consistency.

- That makes sense - I was focusing more on Paper Mario than Mario & Luigi (or even Superstar Saga specifically), it seems. Thanks! Technetium (talk) 12:03, December 26, 2024 (EST)
