I don't think this should be categorized as a system. It should be under merchandise. While there is interaction, there is no gameplay.--Platform (talk) 08:09, February 2, 2025 (EST)

:I don't think a system has to have game play exactly - "system" generally pertains to just Nintendo hardware in general (at least now), as well as accessories. Besides, Alarmo does have game play in a sense, through the different alarm modes it has. 08:01, February 5, 2025 (EST)

::The only other non-game related system in that category is Mario in Real Time. Alarmo is currently in the "Video game systems and add-ons" template despite not having any games.--Platform (talk) 08:18, February 5, 2025 (EST)

:::As I implied before, Alarmo is the game. The nature of moving around and getting out of bed to generate sound and stop your alarm is inherently game play in itself. My personal argument aside, I don't know where you got Alarmo being in "Video game systems and add-ons" template from - that template doesn't exist nor is Alarmo in it; it's located in the Systems category, and, like you said, MIRT is the other non-game system in this category, making the category nonexclusive to systems only designed to play video games. I assume the description in the category page will have to be updated to reflect this. 07:56, March 10, 2025 (EDT)
::::I'm referring to the Template:Systems located at the bottom of the article. I deleted the entry for Alarmo from the template weeks ago. I don't think MIRT belongs in the systems category either.--Platform (talk) 09:16, March 10, 2025 (EDT)
It seems the other editors and a bureaucrat have determined it to be merch.--Platform (talk) 22:48, March 10, 2025 (EDT)
