I really do not think this is just one character. I'm pretty sure that at least once, potentially in the Red Coin Field, he's yellow. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:12, October 18, 2020 (EDT)
- I would like to agree with that - did not consider that at first but if they appear in two places at once, there have to be several. I'll also check the color of the one in the bonus area.

- As far is I can tell, there is no evidence that these are all the same guy, and the existence of a palette-swapped one casts doubt on it.

The phrase "flaming Pianta" comes up the most in the game's English guides. Should we move it to that? This Pianta (or Piantas?) is always on fire whenever he's first met in the area, so it seems a bit more appropriate than the name that implies you can buy from him.
