Remake changes[edit]

Some emails have been slightly edited in the remake, but I'm not sure how to format those changes. I was considering sing slashes and (GameCube) / (Switch), but that's much easier for quotes than here. Additionally, there are formatting changes in the emails themselves that can't be addressed clearly this way. Should we just split each email into two if they've been changed? ---Technetium (talk) 16:39, June 23, 2024 (EDT)

Personally, I would suggest having both versions displayed in table form. --Zootalo (talk) 17:35, June 23, 2024 (EDT)
Interesting, what's the code for doing this / do you have an example of a page using this? --Technetium (talk) 17:39, June 23, 2024 (EDT)
The emails from Koopook and Pine T. use hover text for the respective translation errors the original game had. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 17:42, June 23, 2024 (EDT)

There seems to be four colors. I extracted them. Include in article some how... --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 16:28, October 26, 2024 (EDT)

Might be worth pointing out the remake doesn't color-code the emails. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 16:56, October 26, 2024 (EDT)
Yeah. Unique detail. However, upon closer inspection, I am seeing a checkered pattern caused by the dark blue background. The texture for the tab of each e-mail has some transparency applied to it and is white. Color is being applied to the texture on-the-fly. True color will need to be extracted from the GameCube assembly code, which really goes beyond my skills. All I can do is approximate. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 10:24, October 27, 2024 (EDT)
