Years ago I saw a case where a player's last balloon was destroyed in battle mode just before they turned invincible causing the game to play the invincibility music on the game over screen...
Has anyone else seen this?

An VVVVVVVVVVVVVV sound corrupt[edit]

In the SNES 9x ROM releae of Super Mario Kart, while corrupting and choose the unknown name 3RAICOG in the «Uk Mario Harts», the game stop at character screen and play a VVVVVVVVVVVV like sound. Watch this video to see this corrupt glitch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtxhSQiduMk
