My List Compared to the Wiki List[edit]

http://www.ign.com/blogs/sauron-avenger/2013/12/27/hidden-luigi-list-for-mario-3-d-world/

Some of the Luigi's I found are not on this list. Feel free to take a look at my list and add in what you need for the wiki. The ones I found on this wiki I credited.

Not enough luigi spirit[edit]

I really think all the photos taken should have the player be playing as Luigi. This is, of course, the list of Luigi sightings.

Adds nothing to the page if it is just Luigi so there's no point. Yoshi876 (talk)
Yea, but the game was made in the year of Luigi. But I must agree. Luigi (talk)

4-1[edit]

I found it. It's on the bottum-right corner of the sprixie binoculers hill. I Nt to add it, but i dont know howto edit the tables. Help? Wintermelon43 (talk) 11:53, 13 February 2014 (EST)

World 3[edit]

An 8-bit luigi is in world 3's map. When you head to the higher platform with the 1-Up, Hop in the pipe. Quickly look in the distance. See it?--WhiteYoshi2014 (talk) 20:15, 13 July 2014 (EDT) (P.S. Sorry about forgetting my name on this talk page.)

Electronic Manual[edit]

Another 8-bit Luigi is in the electronic manual. It is Super Luigi squatting. --WhiteYoshi2014 (talk) 14:54, 5 July 2014 (EDT)

Another one: 3-2[edit]

Just wanted to let you know that there's another one that jumps out of the 3rd ? Block in when it's hit in Chain-Link Charge.

Another one in Star-3[edit]

One hidden Luigi can be found occasionally popping out of the second coin block in Rolling Ride Run.

Other Luigis[edit]

There's a Luigi in the light on the back of 5-3 Very faint Luigi is outrunning the train in the intros of 3-train and bowser-train And why is star-8 mentioned when snow is in the "other" section?

Whoops[edit]

Sorry, I didn't know that enters don't count as new lines in the discussion. Also, when you go on the grand world map, the character is 8-bit, so go on that map as Luigi.

Luigi picture[edit]

There should be a stamp collection picture for the 8-bit Luigi stamp too
The preceding unsigned comment was added by 161.97.140.17 (talk).

5-5 Luigi[edit]

You actually only have to wait 67 seconds for it to appear, so you should say it appears at 333

pictures[edit]

Thanks for putting the pictures in for the other Luigis. However, we still need the Bowser Express intro one.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by 161.97.140.17 (talk).

Ok. I have not unlocked that level yet, but I will soon. When I do, I will try to get that picture up. (Or, someone else can if they want to) Supermariofan67 (talk) 12:17, 15 February 2017 (EST)
I have the stage unlocked. I can find it real quick. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:24, 15 February 2017 (EST)
I got the Bowser Train image, but I can't get the manual image due to not being able to use the HOME button when using it. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:36, 15 February 2017 (EST)

8-bit Luigi on the moon[edit]

So, in both bowser-6 and 6-3, there is a full moon at the end. Luigi appears at 30 seconds in bowser-6. Maybe the same for 6-3 then?
The preceding unsigned comment was added by 161.97.140.17 (talk).

I sat there looking at the moon in 6-3 until the timer ran out. No Luigi appeared. You owe me a 1-Up Mushroom Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:44, 15 February 2017 (EST)

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Luigis[edit]

Do you think we may need one of these for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for the Luigis (And also in that case, Rosalinas) that appear in the game? I couldn't tell you where many of them are or get any screenshots, but I know the location of a few. Examples are the cutscene at the end (As it is the same as SM3DW), there's one running on the tracks ahead of the train on one of the levels, one running inside a wheel, and there are Rosalinas in double cherry spires and the beep block one at least. Anyone think that we need this or would be able to do it? BBQ Turtle (talk) 06:20, 20 August 2017 (EDT)

Pixel characters[edit]

Since all these Pixel/8bit characters have been showing up other then Luigi, do you think it might be better to merge them all to one page and catergorize them by game? like say Mario Odyssey, then list the locations the pixel/8bit characters can be found, I mean there's quite a bit of them now, we got Pixel luigi, pixel cat Mario, pixel cat peach, pixel Rosalina, pixel Toad, and Pixel captain Toad as it's probably likely for them to return again (look at how many games pixel luigi has popped up in) and if so do you think other appearances would count as well, like Luigi's Mansion, the Paper Mario series as well as Mario RPG and the pipe areas in odyssey, or the one answering the door in Mario Maker? Another one in Switchboard Falls (3-7)[edit]

I can't find this anywhere online. The first time I played this level, right after I rode the first switchboard, I ran up to the wall that has a row of 3 ?-blocks with one long ?-block above them. I jumped up to open the long one first, then I went down to the ground to hit the 3 single blocks, and an 8-bit Luigi jumped out of the middle one when I hit it. I don't remember if I broke any of the brown blocks on either side first. I was also wearing the Tanooki suit if it matters. I haven't been able to get it to happen again, but I swear it wasn't just my eyes playing tricks on me. Can anyone verify this? 134.202.32.29 20:34, February 11, 2021 (EST)

Never mind, it falls under the "? Blocks" section near the bottom of the page. I was really confused because I thought it was something specific to this level. 134.202.32.42 20:37, February 11, 2021 (EST)

5-3 Luigi[edit]

What happened to the hidden Luigi in 5-3? Why did it get removed from the list? TurkeyCookTime (talk) 15:04, November 28, 2021 (EST)

Looks like that sighting was wrong. There's no Luigi there, the brickwork was mistaken for a faint Luigi sprite. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 15:23, November 28, 2021 (EST)

Luigi Crown[edit]

Is there anyone with a image of the Luigi Sighting for Star-2 in the Bowser’s Fury port? If so, please upload it. Thanks.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by 162.84.176.176 (talk).

Is there one, and if so where in the level is it? Marie costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 04:45, February 6, 2022 (EST)

I remember seeing it in a Supper Mario Broth post. According to the post, it was added in Bowser's Fury, is located near Rosalina, and disappears once she is unlocked. I currently can't find the post. Wario (Cowboy) from Mario Kart TourWildWario (talk) 04:59, February 6, 2022 (EST)

Found in 3-1 in item box[edit]

I found him 94.5.119.90 15:59, June 22, 2024 (EDT)

Luigis can pop out of any ? box. It's listed in "other" at the bottom of the page. TurkeyCookTime (talk) 13:25, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

Add World Mushroom and World Flower?[edit]

Yes, I know the Pixel Luigis hidden in those levels are the same as the original levels. However, there are a few reasons why I think they should still be added.

  • Currently, there is only one single Luigi listed for World Flower. It feels kind of strange to have a "list" with only one item.
  • Some WM and WF levels DON'T have Luigis hidden in them (Trouble in Shadow-Play Alley for example) and a list will make that more clear.
  • You could put notes on the original levels saying "This Luigi is not present in the World Mushroom version", but I feel like if someone wants to find the Luigis hidden in World Mushroom, they are going to scroll down to the World Mushroom section. They shouldn't have to scour through the rest of the list to find the correct level.

I have already done this for the remade levels on the List of Luigi sightings in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, but I wanted to ask if it's okay to put them here since this is a larger page. TurkeyCookTime (talk) 13:39, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

We could also make a list near the bottom of the page that lists all of the levels that don't have known Luigi sightings, but that's a whole other thing. TurkeyCookTime (talk) 13:40, July 2, 2024 (EDT)
