The Links Course is NOT named after Link from Zelda! The "Links" part of Links Course came via the Scots language from the Old English word hlinc. Hlinc means rising ground. See here PaperMarioGolf (talk) 18:16, November 30, 2023 (EST)
- It uses a Triforce symbol in the GBA game. While the name itself isn't derived from TLoZ, the reference is still there. Much like the article already explains. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:18, November 30, 2023 (EST)
Its namesake is derived from the term used for British coastal golf courses. It is also a pun on the character Link from The Legend of Zelda, as evident by the flag of the links, where a Triforce is imprinted.
