- Last time I checked, Gold Koopa is actually still the most recently used name, due to Mario Kart Tour using it. And I'm sure Super Mario Odyssey is not newer than Mario Kart Tour.

Super Mario Galaxy appearance[edit]
I found a render of what appears to be a Gold Koopa in Super Mario Galaxy on The Models Resource. I know it doesn't appear anywhere in-game, but since the model preview showed one, I think it might be in the game data. Could someone please confirm? —Thejohnston7 (talk) 13:03, March 20, 2025 (EDT)
- There is no Gold Koopa in SMG, but they did program one in, I believe. There is also a Blue Koopa in the code. - Nintendo101 (talk) 13:54, March 20, 2025 (EDT)
