Since in the Snifit and Goomba articles for the 1993 film say that they’re variants of the Dinohattanites, shouldn’t that be mentioned here? Weegie baby (talk) 14:43, November 11, 2024 (EST)

Dinohattanite is clearly a play on the word Manhattanite and refers to city residents, not the name of their "species". David Snyder in the making of featurette refers to them "humans" with a different evolutionary background. This also matches some lines in the manga, where they're more overtly called humans, with 'mammalian' humans being referred to as humans from another world, though it looks like there's a few contradictions in Koopa's dialog.
