Aren't these kind of just the same thing as Fences? I know the difference is that they can only be climbed on by character in cat forms, but I'd chalk that up more to the difference in gameplay style more than being different objects altogether, like how Trampolines have to be ground-pounded in Super Mario Galaxy and can't be carried. Plus they have the same Japanese name, just rendered in Hiragana instead of Kanji. BubbleRevolution (talk) 22:32, October 27, 2019 (EDT)

:I personally think so. The previous 3D game to have fences was Sunshine, which itself has several quirks to it. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:02, October 27, 2019 (EDT)

See above. Yes, it's Cat Mario-only in this game. But that's just a quirk for this iteration of the same gimmick. They had other atypical quirks (as did everything) in Sunshine, I see no reason to discount this from being the same thing based on some ability-based gatekeeping.

Potential for bigger coverage
Would it make sense for the coverage to include objects that can be climbed on like a fence now that the name is nonspecific? Wario Land 3 and Yoshi's Woolly World specifically come to mind. 18:47, March 9, 2021 (EST)
